The difference between Dandy and Dude

When used as nouns, dandy means a man very concerned about his clothes and his appearance, whereas dude means a man, generally a younger man.


Dandy is also adjective with the meaning: like a dandy, foppish.

Dude is also verb with the meaning: to address someone as dude.
