The difference between Consummate and Top off
When used as verbs, consummate means to bring (a task, project, goal etc.) to completion, whereas top off means to fill or refill the final portion of something that is not empty, until it is completely full.
Consummate is also adjective with the meaning: complete in every detail, perfect, absolute.
