The difference between Constant and Stationary

When used as nouns, constant means that which is permanent or invariable, whereas stationary means one who, or that which, is stationary, such as a planet when apparently it has neither progressive nor retrograde motion.

When used as adjectives, constant means unchanged through time or space, whereas stationary means not moving.
