The difference between Comrade and Sister

When used as nouns, comrade means a mate, companion, or associate, whereas sister means a daughter of the same parents as another person.

When used as verbs, comrade means to associate with in a friendly way, whereas sister means to strengthen (a supporting beam) by fastening a second beam alongside it.
