The difference between Complex and Simplex

When used as nouns, complex means a problem, whereas simplex means an analogue in any dimension of the triangle or tetrahedron: the convex hull of n+1 points in n-dimensional space.

When used as adjectives, complex means made up of multiple parts, whereas simplex means single, simple.


Complex is also verb with the meaning: to form a complex with another substance.
