The difference between Cisgender and Gender-free

When used as adjectives, cisgender means having a gender (identity) which matches the sex one was assigned at birth, whereas gender-free means (identifying themselves as) having no gender, as being neither male nor female nor any third gender.


Cisgender is also noun with the meaning: a cisgender person.
