The difference between Brand and Logo

When used as nouns, brand means a conflagration, whereas logo means a symbol or emblem that acts as a trademark or a means of identification of a company or organization.


Brand is also verb with the meaning: to burn the flesh with a hot iron, either as a marker (for criminals, slaves etc.) or to cauterise a wound.
