The difference between Audible and Quiet

When used as nouns, audible means the act of or an instance of changing the play at the line of scrimmage by yelling out a new one, whereas quiet means the absence of sound.

When used as verbs, audible means to change the play at the line of scrimmage by yelling out a new one, whereas quiet means to become quiet, silent, still, tranquil, calm.

When used as adjectives, audible means able to be heard, whereas quiet means with little or no sound.
