The difference between Asexual and Sexless
When used as adjectives, asexual means not sexual in nature, not marked by sexual activity. (compare platonic.), whereas sexless means without sexual activity.
Asexual is also noun with the meaning: a species which reproduces by asexual rather than sexual reproduction, or a member of such a species.
