The difference between Allowance and Scholarship
When used as nouns, allowance means permission, whereas scholarship means a grant-in-aid to a student.
When used as verbs, allowance means to put upon a fixed allowance (especially of provisions and drink), whereas scholarship means to attend on a scholarship.
