The difference between Adult and Small

When used as nouns, adult means a fully grown human or animal, whereas small means any part of something that is smaller or slimmer than the rest, now usually with anatomical reference to the back.

When used as verbs, adult means to (cause to) be or become an adult, whereas small means to make little or less.

When used as adjectives, adult means fully grown, whereas small means not large or big.
