The difference between Adult and Dirty

When used as verbs, adult means to (cause to) be or become an adult, whereas dirty means to make (something) dirty.

When used as adjectives, adult means fully grown, whereas dirty means unclean.


Adult is also noun with the meaning: a fully grown human or animal.
