The difference between Adjacent and Juxtaposed
When used as adjectives, adjacent means lying next to, close, or contiguous, whereas juxtaposed means placed side by side often for comparison or contrast.
Adjacent is also noun with the meaning: something that lies next to something else, especially the side of a right triangle that is neither the hypotenuse nor the opposite.
