The difference between Add and Note

When used as nouns, add means an act or instance of adding, whereas note means a mark or token by which a thing may be known.

When used as verbs, add means to join or unite (e.g. one thing to another, or as several particulars) so as to increase the number, augment the quantity or enlarge the magnitude, or so as to form into one aggregate, whereas note means to notice with care.
