The difference between Yea and Yup
When used as interjections, yea means yeah, right, yes, whereas yup means yes.
When used as nouns, yea means an affirmative vote, usually but not always spoken, whereas yup means a yes.
Yea is also conjunction with the meaning: or even, or more like, nay.
Yea is also adverb with the meaning: yes.
