The difference between Shoddy and Slim
When used as nouns, shoddy means a low-grade cloth made from by-products of wool processing, or from recycled wool, whereas slim means a type of cigarette substantially longer and thinner than normal cigarettes.
When used as adjectives, shoddy means of poor quality or construction, whereas slim means slender in an attractive way.
Slim is also verb with the meaning: to lose weight in order to achieve slimness.
