The difference between Segment and Supreme

When used as nouns, segment means a length of some object, whereas supreme means the highest point.

When used as verbs, segment means to divide into segments or sections, whereas supreme means to divide a citrus fruit into its segments, removing the skin, pith, membranes, and seeds.


Supreme is also adjective with the meaning: dominant, having power over all others.
