The difference between Predominant and Supreme
When used as nouns, predominant means a subdominant, whereas supreme means the highest point.
When used as adjectives, predominant means common or widespread, whereas supreme means dominant, having power over all others.
Supreme is also verb with the meaning: to divide a citrus fruit into its segments, removing the skin, pith, membranes, and seeds.
