The difference between Rescue and Retake

When used as nouns, rescue means an act or episode of rescuing, saving, whereas retake means a scene that is filmed again, or a picture that is photographed again.

When used as verbs, rescue means to save from any violence, danger or evil, whereas retake means to take something again.
