The difference between Pray and Request
When used as verbs, pray means to petition or solicit help from a supernatural or higher being, whereas request means to express the need or desire for.
Pray is also adverb with the meaning: please.
Request is also noun with the meaning: act of (with the adposition at in the presence of possessives, and on in their absence).
