The difference between Parcel and Plot

When used as nouns, parcel means a package wrapped for shipment, whereas plot means the course of a story, comprising a series of incidents which are gradually unfolded, sometimes by unexpected means.

When used as verbs, parcel means to wrap something up into the form of a package, whereas plot means to conceive (a crime, etc).
