The difference between Octal and Octonary
When used as nouns, octal means the number system that uses the eight digits 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, whereas octonary means a group of eight things.
When used as adjectives, octal means concerning numbers expressed in octal or mathematical calculations performed using octal, whereas octonary means of eighth rank or order.
