The difference between None and Nones

When used as nouns, none means a person without religious affiliation, whereas nones means the notional first-quarter day of a roman month, occurring on the 7th day of the four original 31-day months (march, may, quintilis or july, and october) and on the 5th day of all other months.


None is also determiner with the meaning: not any.

None is also pronoun with the meaning: not any of a given number or group. no one, nobody. no person.

None is also adverb with the meaning: to no extent, in no way.
