The difference between Musical and So

When used as nouns, musical means a stage performance, show or film that involves singing, dancing and musical numbers performed by the cast as well as acting, whereas so means a syllable used in solfège to represent the fifth note of a major scale.

When used as adjectives, musical means of or relating to music, whereas so means true, accurate.


So is also conjunction with the meaning: in order that.

So is also adverb with the meaning: to the (explicitly stated) extent that.
