The difference between Middle and Midpoint
When used as nouns, middle means a centre, midpoint, whereas midpoint means a point equidistant between two extremes.
Middle is also verb with the meaning: to double (a rope) into two equal portions.
Middle is also adjective with the meaning: located in the middle.
