The difference between Little and Much

When used as determiners, little means not much, only a little: only a small amount (of), whereas much means a large amount of.

When used as pronouns, little means not much, whereas much means a large amount or great extent.

When used as adverbs, little means not much, whereas much means to a great extent.

When used as adjectives, little means small in size, whereas much means large, great.


Little is also noun with the meaning: the participant in ageplay who acts out the younger role.
