The difference between Lintel and Superliminary
When used as nouns, lintel means a horizontal structural beam spanning an opening, such as between the uprights of a door or a window, and which supports the wall above, whereas superliminary means the lintel across the top of a doorway.
Superliminary is also adjective with the meaning: preliminary, introductory.
