The difference between Lesbian and Queer

When used as nouns, lesbian means a homosexual woman, one who is motly or exclusively sexually or romantically attracted to other women, whereas queer means a person who is or appears homosexual, or who has homosexual qualities.

When used as adjectives, lesbian means homosexual, gay, whereas queer means weird, odd or different.


Queer is also adverb with the meaning: queerly.

Queer is also verb with the meaning: to render an endeavor or agreement ineffective or null.
