The difference between Leaf and Thumb

When used as nouns, leaf means the usually green and flat organ that represents the most prominent feature of most vegetative plants, whereas thumb means the short thick digit of the hand that for humans has the most mobility and can be made to oppose (moved to touch) all of the other fingers.
