The difference between Integrated circuit and Semiconductor
When used as nouns, integrated circuit means a thin chip, usually of silicon, consisting of at least two interconnected semiconductor devices, mainly transistors, whereas semiconductor means a substance with electrical properties intermediate between a good conductor and a good insulator.
