The difference between Individual and Personal

When used as nouns, individual means a person considered alone, rather than as belonging to a group of people, whereas personal means an advertisement by which individuals attempt to meet others with similar interests.

When used as adjectives, individual means relating to a single person or thing as opposed to more than one, whereas personal means pertaining to human beings as distinct from things.
