The difference between Hundred and Wapentake
When used as nouns, hundred means a hundred-dollar bill, or any other note denominated 100 (e.g. a hundred euros), whereas wapentake means an administrative subdivision in northern english counties, developed under norse influence, and corresponding to hundreds in the rest of england.
Hundred is also numeral with the meaning: a numerical value equal to 100 (102), occurring after ninety-nine.
