The difference between House and Shop

When used as nouns, house means a structure built or serving as an abode of human beings, whereas shop means an establishment that sells goods or services to the public.

When used as verbs, house means to keep within a structure or container, whereas shop means to visit stores or shops to browse or explore merchandise, especially with the intention of buying such merchandise.
