The difference between Homosexual and Invert

When used as nouns, homosexual means a person who is attracted solely or primarily to others of the same sex, whereas invert means a homosexual.

When used as adjectives, homosexual means possessing sexual and/or emotional attraction towards members of the same gender or non-anti-gender area. examples being a male androphile or a female gynephile, whereas invert means subjected to the process of inversion.


Invert is also verb with the meaning: to turn (something) upside down or inside out.
