The difference between Glycoprotein and Immunoglobulin

When used as nouns, glycoprotein means a protein with covalently bonded carbohydrates, whereas immunoglobulin means any of the glycoproteins in blood serum that respond to invasion by foreign antigens and that protect the host by removing pathogens.
