The difference between Antibody and Immunoglobulin
When used as nouns, antibody means a protein produced by b-lymphocytes that binds to a specific antigen, whereas immunoglobulin means any of the glycoproteins in blood serum that respond to invasion by foreign antigens and that protect the host by removing pathogens.
