The difference between Fluff and Puff

When used as nouns, fluff means anything light, soft or fuzzy, especially fur, hair, feathers, whereas puff means a sharp exhalation of a small amount of breath through the mouth.

When used as verbs, fluff means to make something fluffy, whereas puff means to emit smoke, gas, etc., in puffs.
