The difference between Equal and Peer

When used as nouns, equal means a person or thing of equal status to others, whereas peer means a look.

When used as verbs, equal means to be equal to, to have the same value as, whereas peer means to look with difficulty, or as if searching for something.


Equal is also adjective with the meaning: the same in all respects.
