The difference between Epigonation and Epitrachelion
When used as nouns, epigonation means part of the vestment worn by bishops and some priests in the eastern orthodox church somewhat similar to a maniple, whereas epitrachelion means the liturgical vestment worn by priests and bishops of the eastern orthodox church as the symbol of their priesthood, corresponding to the western stole.
