The difference between Deuterated and Protiated
When used as adjectives, deuterated means describing a compound which has had some of its normal hydrogen (protium) replaced with the heavy isotope deuterium, whereas protiated means describing a compound that contains the normal isotope of hydrogen (rather than deuterium or tritium).
