The difference between Cube and Cubic

When used as nouns, cube means a regular polyhedron having six identical square faces, whereas cubic means a cubic curve.


Cube is also verb with the meaning: to raise to the third power.

Cubic is also adjective with the meaning: used in the names of units of volume formed by multiplying a unit of length by itself twice.
