The difference between Complex sentence and Sentence
When used as nouns, complex sentence means a sentence that contains an independent clause as well as one or more dependent clauses, such as a relative clause, an adverbial clause, or a noun clause, whereas sentence means the decision or judgement of a jury or court.
Sentence is also verb with the meaning: to declare a sentence on a convicted person.
