The difference between Chubby and Plump

When used as nouns, chubby means a chubby, plump person, whereas plump means the sound of a sudden heavy fall.

When used as adjectives, chubby means of a person, slightly overweight, somewhat fat, and hence soft, plump, and rounded, whereas plump means having a full and rounded shape.
