The difference between Cardinal numeral and Numeral
When used as nouns, cardinal numeral means a word used to represent a cardinal number, whereas numeral means a symbol that is not a word and represents a number, such as the arabic numerals 1, 2, 3 and the roman numerals i, v, x, l.
Numeral is also adjective with the meaning: of or relating to numbers.
