The difference between Baby and Offspring

When used as nouns, baby means a very young human, particularly from birth to a couple of years old or until walking is fully mastered, whereas offspring means a person's daughter(s) and/or son(s).


Baby is also verb with the meaning: to coddle.

Baby is also adjective with the meaning: of a child: very young.
