The difference between Aromatic and Smelly

When used as nouns, aromatic means a fragrant plant or spice added to a dish to flavour it, whereas smelly means a short magazine lee enfield rifle or one of its derivatives.

When used as adjectives, aromatic means fragrant or spicy, whereas smelly means having a bad smell.
