The difference between Arc and Bow

When used as nouns, arc means that part of a circle which a heavenly body appears to pass through as it moves above and below the horizon, whereas bow means a weapon made of a curved piece of wood or other flexible material whose ends are connected by a string, used for shooting arrows.

When used as verbs, arc means to move following a curved path, whereas bow means to play music on (a stringed instrument) using a bow.
