The difference between Approbative and Pejorative
When used as nouns, approbative means a word or grammatical form which denotes a positive affect expressing the appreciation or approval of the speaker, whereas pejorative means a disparaging, belittling, or derogatory word or expression.
When used as adjectives, approbative means expressing approval, whereas pejorative means disparaging, belittling or derogatory.
