The difference between Animate and Static

When used as adjectives, animate means that which lives, whereas static means unchanging.


Animate is also verb with the meaning: to impart motion or the appearance of motion to.

Static is also noun with the meaning: interference on a broadcast signal caused by atmospheric disturbances.
