The difference between Anguish and Pang

When used as nouns, anguish means extreme pain, either of body or mind, whereas pang means often in plural: a paroxysm of extreme physical pain or anguish.

When used as verbs, anguish means to suffer pain, whereas pang means to cause to have great pain or suffering.
